Photography : an early passion.

My interest in photography was born very early, during childhood, because my father took photos constantly whenever he had the opportunity.

Watching him freeze the right moment like a painter made a big impression on me. He introduced me to the fascinating world of film photography.

In his little amateur lab, it was heaven. The red light, the containers of chemicals and the image which, as if by magic, gradually reveals itself.

Africa: an unbreakable natural bond.

My very special bond with the African continent began in adolescence when my father was transferred to Algeria then in Ivory Coast. For several years, we traveled these two countries.

As well as the many surrounding African countries for our greatest happiness. It was around this time that I caught the travel bug. A lovely illness which then led me to visit a good part of the globe for 25 years.

It was a professional retraining in business tourism, via a internship of 6-months in Arusha, Tanzania, the starting point for the safaris, which finally allowed me to reconnect completely with Africa. It was about fifteen years ago.

Wildlife, a permanent wonder.

In addition to the raw magnificence of Africa and the unspeakable magic of its landscapes and its lights, it is its exceptional wildlife diversity that has always fascinated me the most.

This amazing Natural Noah's Ark is for me one of the most photogenic places in the world.

Anyone lucky enough to observe this exceptional open-air zoo experiences feelings of joy, of freedom and humility that are hard to compare.

It was a meeting with a professional photographer guide who, one day, pushed me to concretely combine this appetite for photography and my passion for Africa. Since then, I have traveled extensively in Africa and particulary in Kenya, in

Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa, in Namibia and Tanzania .First as wild life photographer for various wildfife protection associations then as safari organizer and photographer guide.

Going on an adventure, discovering other peoples and other very different cultures to transcribe all the singularity and beauty on "film", this is my ideal of life.
